Sustainable solutions become transformation for generations…

Create lasting change for women and children in South Asia.

The Adopt-A-Village (AAV) partnership provides funding necessary to initiate holistic and self-sustainable solutions that change the story for not just a few but a whole rural community. The best part is that those with the greatest needs—women and children are impacted the most.

Some of the sustainable solutions that happen through the AAV program are…
• Adult literacy training
• Job skills training
• Mentoring for women through Women’s Transformation Groups
• Awareness on human rights, health and safety issues
• Micro-credit loans to help women start small businesses
• Clean water wells
• Medical camps, post/prenatal care

How it works

An Adopt-A-Village (AAV) Sponsorship happens between a village, a KGF partner near the village, and a partner (usually an organization, church or group/consortium of investors).

Once a village is selected, the local leaders meet with the people who live there, survey the needs of the village and draw up plans. Each AAV project is thoughtfully designed to meet the specific needs. KGF works closely with local leaders as plans are drawn up and carried out. Projects last three years and include quarterly progress reports that are sent out to the investors.

Each AAV consists of measurable goals and includes:
