Give a monthly amount toward Microcredit Loans/education. This is a great way to come alongside a woman and empower her in very practical ways.
Here’s what that looks like…In the villages where we work, women can join a WTG or Women’s Transformation Group. In these groups, they gain so much! They get equipped through financial classes, and mentorship. They learn how to manage their money and open a bank account in their name. Through all this they gain a sense of self-worth and realize their potential.
They also have the opportunity to either go to the local community college or receive job skills training. Those who choose job skills training later have the opportunity to apply for a microcredit loan to start a small business. Many of these women go on to do quite well and end up employing other women. Others enjoy the blessings of being able to help their husband and provide for the family, even seeing their children go on to college. Your monthly gift is an investment not just in one woman, but in a community of women and families.
